Here comes summer!!!  My fav

This is the perfect time of year to pick up that beading project you have been dying to make.

Take a look at the sales items I have available, as well.  I'll be adding more discounts on loose seed beads and supplies

during the summer months as I reorganize my studio.

Happy Beading!!

I've  had quite a few inquires about my storage containers shown in the Beadwork magazine Inspirational story.

Here are a few blurbs I wrote about that plus a few more which may not have made it into the article.

My students often ask me how I organize my beads and supplies.  The answer always is “Again and again and again”.  But seriously, if you are a casual beader,  you may simply require a few specially designed organizing containers.  However, for me, it is a bit more complicated.  While traveling I noticed  the “take Away” containers used all over Australia in restaurants.  They are clear, come in several sizes, and all share the same lid.  I have brought hundreds of them home with me and label them for my findings, pearls, crystals, class work boxes, etc.  They are the life blood in my office.  I can find anything in a moment.

To maintain tubes of assorted beads I use office style stacked drawers and organize them by size.

One of the things I love about my work space is that I decided to place my desk in front of the window.  After working on a project for some time it is so nice to change my gaze to the far away scenery – even if that is my neighbor walking her dog.

The second thing I love about my work space is the huge magnifier/light my husband bought me a few years ago.  Now I can see those teeny tiny 15’s, no problem!
